The first sample almost never makes it.

Wrong color. Print too soft. A technique that doesn't hold up the way it did in the mockup. Back to the factory. New sample. Same standards.

Most drops take two rounds. Some take three. And sometimes the piece that drops looks nothing like what we started with.

THAT'S NOT A MISTAKE. THAT'S THE PROCESS.

Nobody sees the rejected samples. The seam that puckered. The yellow that came back orange. The knit that went limp after one wash. They don't get a photo. They don't get a name. They get sent back.

We'd rather kill a sample than ship something that's almost right. Almost right is the enemy. Almost right is what fills everybody else's rack.

The version you're wearing is the one that survived every no before it.
